Bianca A.R. Howard
Rev. Bianca A.R. Howard, ThM ’05, is a licensed and ordained minister of the gospel and past chair of Princeton Theological Seminary’s Alumni Association Executive Council. While on a mission trip to South Africa in college, God called her to full-time ministry. She is a 2000 graduate of Valdosta State University with a degree in broadcast/journalism and in 2004 she earned a Master of Divinity from Howard University School of Divinity. Howard continued her graduate studies in theology at Princeton Theological Seminary, where she earned a Master of Theology in 2005.
Howard is currently the full-time children and youth pastor at Zion Baptist Church in Marietta, Georgia, where she has served since 2006. She has extensive mission experience traveling all over the world to places such as India and Costa Rica, and throughout Africa and Europe. Howard is also a blogger for www.BWIM.info, a Baptist Woman in Ministry website. She is a proud and active member in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and currently holds the position of chaplain for her local chapter. In addition, Howard serves as a staff member with the Academy of Preachers, a national organization that equips young ministers of the gospel. She is also in the process of authoring her first book in which she addresses the fundamentals of a successful children and youth ministry in the Black church setting.
